Lenz Company has considerable expertise in the design of specialized mechanical and electrical systems for laboratory and research facilities for medical, teaching and research, and industrial laboratories. The design of laboratories requires special consideration involving multiple zoning for flexibility and pressurization control. Our designs also consider energy conserving features including variable air volume systems to minimize outside air while maintaining proper air flows for indoor air quality and fume hood airflow requirements prescribed safety limits. Our projects have included new facilities as well as renovations of existing labs where phased construction of occupied facilities is often required.
