Grand Opening of the New Etna Riverfront Trail and Park
Congratulations to The Borough of Etna on the opening of the Etna Riverfront Trail and Park! As a subconsultant to Environmental Planning and Design (EPD), our team provided the civil, structural and electrical engineering services for the transformation of the site, which was previously home to industrial and transportation facilities for over 200 years, into a beautiful trail section and park that reconnects Etna to the Allegheny River.
Our Principal-in Charge of Civil Engineering, Keith Gindlesperger, P.E., Project Engineer, Bryan Clement, P.E., Structural Engineer, Fred Kohler, P.E., and Engineering Technician, Rick Agagliati attended the official opening of the park last week. We were honored to be mentioned in the ceremony’s program with a quote from the borough officials, “EPD’s subconsulting engineers at H.F. Lenz Company were awesome to work with, solving problems as they arose with efficiency and practical solutions”.
Our services included:
- Stormwater management utilizing green infrastructure techniques
- Structural engineering for new decorative wall panels
- Electrical engineering for new decorative lighting
- Project coordination and oversight
Our team takes great pride in the projects they have completed for parks and trails throughout Pennsylvania. Thank you to EPD and The Borough of Etna for the opportunity to be a part of this awesome project!
