10.14.20 HFL’s Mission Critical Team Played Monumental Part in QTS Data Center, Northern VA
HFL’s Mission Critical QTS Project Team; lead by Rob Ford, Kevin Walker and Josh Kreutzberger, played a part in reaching a record-breaking milestone at QTS Data Center, Northern Virginia. This fast-track project reached the topping out event in 5 months, starting with obtaining site plan approvals faster than any other project in Loudoun County history. The 27.6-acres site houses over 12 miles of underground conduit; 3,300 tons of erected steel; 122,400 tons of imported stone which set a separate record for the most aggregate shipped to a single site over a 4-day period from the Luck Stone Quarry in Chantilly; over 43,480 lbs of explosives used for rock blasting and more than 38,000 temperatures documented to ensure safety on the job site during this initial period.
Congratulations to all of the teams involved on this monumental achievement!!
