University of Pittsburgh: Benedum Hall
- MEP upgrades to 15-story, 400,000 SF high-rise Swanson School of Engineering containing classroom, research, wet lab, dry lab, computer lab, and faculty offices
- Upgrades included:
- Two 50,000 cfm energy recovery units
- Chilled water bridge and pumps which distribute cooling water from the university’s central chilled water system
- Dry lab air-handling units
- 4160V electrical distribution equipment to serve this building as well as two other adjacent buildings.
- Electrical busway risers located at opposite corners of the building that provide power to the floor panelboards and flexibility for future power needs.
- New 600 KW standby generator
- New vacuum pump and laboratory air compressors
- New stacked telecommunication closets with racks and cooling equipment
- Addition to 42,000 SF Mascaro Center for Sustainable Innovation
