Construction is underway on Commerce Crossing at Westmoreland
We are so proud to be a part of the team for the new Commerce Crossing at Westmoreland! H.F. Lenz Company provided the site planning, surveying and civil engineering services for the permitting, infrastructure – including utilities and roadways, for the development of the 230± acre, rail served, business park. The project faced the significant challenge of extending the required utility infrastructure, specifically public sewage, to the site to serve both the Westinghouse-Waltz Mill site and the Commerce Crossing Park. In addition, the existing roadway network was insufficient to accommodate the transportation needs of the business park, which required substantial upgrades.
Features of the project included:
- Sewage Facilities Planning and new Act 537 plan
- Design and Permitting of two 1 MGD Sewage Pump Stations and approximately 3 miles of dual 4-inch force main
- Coordination of New Rail Lines
- Coordination of Permits and Approvals
- Construction Oversight
