As a part of our goal to be responsible stewards to our surrounding environment and community, H.F. Lenz Company is committed to giving back.

CHARITY: Each year the company hosts a Charity Golf Outing to raise money for a different charity. This year we raised over $21,000 for the Children and Youth Advisory Board, which provides assistance to the foster and dependent children of the County. Employees also participate annually in the CMTA Charity Benefit Softball Tournament and Toys for Tots. The company donates to various local charities, including the Salvation Army, The Association for the Blind, Women’s Help Center, and many others.

TECHNICAL BOARDS + COMMITTEES:  Many of our employees invest their time as members or board members of various committees. Paul Petrilli is an ASHRAE member who served as a past Society Director and Chair of Region III, society Nominating Committee Member, society Scholarship Trustee and serves on the Honors and Awards Committee.  Several employees are also involved with the Johnstown Chapter of American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE) including Michael Spinelli (President of the Johnstown Chapter), Steve Kormanik (ASPE Region 2 Director and Member of the Society Board of Directors),  Paul Alexander (Secretary).

LOCAL TALENT INVOLVEMENT: H.F. Lenz Company also encourages local talent by speaking at career fairs, participating in student job shadow opportunities, and hiring seasonal interns.

TECHNOLOGY: One of the ways in which we enable our employees to perform their best is by investing in the latest technology and software.  We have deployed VDI (virtual desktop infrastructure), which provides safe and secure access to our network and allows our employees to work from any location.  Among our different disciplines we have Revit, AutoCAD, 6Sigma CFD, SKM, ETAP, AMPCalc, Visual Professional, RAM, and STAAD to name a few of our most commonly used programs.
